This species is characterised by 2-5 stem-leaves and a rosette of almost entire, broadly lanceolate leaves - especially stemleaves with more or less concave upper margins. The petioles are short, distinctly winged and somewhat broadened towards the partly amplexicaul base.
A very rare species hitherto only found in the forest at Fakkegrav east of Vejle, Jylland, Denmark. It is supposed to be endemic.
